Folded watercolor place cards for Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthdays, tea parties, and garden parties. Type your guest list, pick a picture, and print.
Leave the list empty to print a sheet of blank cards with a line for writing names by hand.
Use white or cream cardstock (65 lb works well). In the print window, choose Actual size or Scale 100%, not "Fit to page," and turn off headers and footers. Four cards print on each sheet.
Tip for a crisp fold: lay a ruler along the dotted line and run the back of a butter knife along it before you fold.
A little card with each guest's name makes a table feel special, and it saves the "where do I sit?" shuffle. These free printable place cards fold into small tents, 3½ by 2 inches, with watercolor pictures in five sets.
Thanksgiving: pumpkins and gourds, a turkey, an autumn wreath, a harvest basket, two little Pilgrim children, and a puppy with a pumpkin.
Christmas: a kitten in a flower pot, a puppy in a red scarf, a gardener snowman, a cardinal on a snowy birdhouse, a red barn in the snow, and a basket of homemade jam.
Birthdays: a chocolate cake with a straw hat, work gloves, and an old trowel for the gardener in the family, a red farm truck loaded with vegetables and balloons, a flower-covered cake, a present tied with a pink bow, and a strawberry cupcake. There's a "Happy Retirement" line too.
Tea parties: a teacup, a teapot, a rose bouquet, petits fours, and a kitten in a teacup. They're lovely for birthday teas, Mother's Day, and bridal or baby showers.
Garden parties: sweet peas, a sunflower, a watering can of flowers, a kitten with pansies, and roses, for summer lunches, anniversaries, and showers on the patio.
Set a card on each plate, lean it against a water glass, or tuck it into a small pumpkin or a pot of herbs. After dinner, the cards make a sweet keepsake for the grandchildren.
