Letter Paper and Folded Note Cards
This free printable garden stationery has soft watercolor flowers, herbs, and vegetables tucked into the corners of each page.
There are six letter paper designs, and each one comes lined for easy writing or unlined for a cleaner look.
You will also find 14 folded note cards with garden scenes, fall pumpkins, Thanksgiving, and a snowy Christmas garden.
Each card folds to 4¼ x 5½ inches, the size of a standard A2 envelope, and the inside is blank for your note.
It was such a pleasure to design these note cards for you to use; I admit that I love old-fashioned beautiful images.

Tips for Printing Your Stationery
- Paper for letters: Regular printer paper works well. For a nicer feel, try 24 lb or 32 lb paper, or a cream or ivory paper.
- Paper for cards: Use 65 lb or 80 lb cardstock so the cards stand up and feel sturdy.
- Print at full size: Choose "Actual size" or "100%" in your print settings, not "Fit to page."
- Ink: The scene cards have full-color pictures and use more ink. The flower and herb designs use very little.
- Envelopes: The folded cards fit a standard A2 envelope (4⅜ x 5¾ inches). Letter paper folds in thirds for a regular #10 envelope.
- Free for personal use: Print as many as you like. If you share them, please share a link to this page.
Ways to Use Your Free Printable Garden Stationery
- Thank-you notes: Send a note to a neighbor who shared extra tomatoes, or to a friend who gave you seeds or plants.
- Letters to family: A handwritten letter on pretty paper is a treat for grandparents, grandchildren, and friends far away.
- Garden journal pages: Use the lined paper to record what you planted, what grew well, and what to try next year.
- Recipe cards: Write a favorite recipe for jam, salsa, or zucchini bread inside a folded card and tuck it into a gift.
- Holiday notes: The Thanksgiving and Christmas cards are just right for holiday greetings and thank-you notes after the holidays.
- Gift sets: Print a few sheets of letter paper and some folded cards, tie them with ribbon, and you have a lovely gift for a friend who loves to write.
How to Print, Fold, and Mail Your Note Cards
- Print: Load cardstock in your printer and print one sheet. Each sheet makes 2 cards.
- Cut: Cut across the dashed line in the middle of the sheet. A paper trimmer gives the straightest edge, but careful scissor cutting works fine.
- Score: For a crisp fold on cardstock, lay a ruler on the dotted line and run the back of a butter knife or an empty ballpoint pen along it.
- Fold: Fold on the scored line with the picture on the outside, then press the fold flat with the side of a spoon.
- Write and mail: Write your note inside, slip the card into an A2 envelope, and add a regular first-class stamp.
Why a Handwritten Note Still Matters
In a world of quick texts and emails, a handwritten note stands out. It shows that you took the time to sit down, choose a pretty card, and think about the person you are writing to. Many people keep handwritten letters for years, tucked in a drawer or a favorite book. A simple note on garden stationery is a lovely way to say thank you, send a birthday wish, or keep in touch with someone far away.
