Green Beans and Cucumbers
We planted our seeds early and they are very tall now. It's too cold to put them outside yet. Any ideas of what to do with them now?
ANSWER:
I usually plant my green beans and cucumbers seeds directly in the ground at the appropriate time.
You CAN transplant cucumbers, but it is very easy to disturb their roots and accidentally kill the plants. Green beans are also difficult to transplant for the same reason.
You might as well try to keep them going in their pots until it is time to plant them outside. It will be difficult to transplant them into larger pots at this point, and then transplant them into the ground when the weather is warmer.
Good luck!
